I’ve been thinking a lot about the golden ratio and it’s applications to design for the internet.
Chris’ golden ratio type tool is pretty interesting. I saw him speak about it and it got me to thinking about where we can put more of these “maths” on our designs.
People have talked about the golden ratio as a guideline for website column sizes for a while. Trouble is, the sidebars are too damn big, it doesn’t feel right. And I, unfortunately, invest far too much weight in my feelings.
So I’ve been working on some stuff. Let this just be the beginning of the conversation. Hope this is clear enough for you…
