My wife wrote my birthday invitation

My birthday is coming up. My wife made the eVite. I had to share her message to the invitees… tears in my eyes.

We all know that Chase will rally when it’s time to rally, so let’s rally for him! We’ve got a great couple of destinations, starting with the Teardrop Lounge. They specialize in the art of cocktails, and when they’ve got signature cocktails with descriptions such as “softly tart, a bright and boisterous totem of spring”, you know it’s going to be a great night.

From there we’ll head to our private karaoke room @ Voicebox at 2112 NW Hoyt around 9:30. If you’ve never heard Chase perform a Journey hit or “Tiny Dancer”, then you owe it to your friendship with him to be there. He may even let others have a turn – and with a private room, there’s no waiting for Ralph and Diane to finish their duet!

If you can only join us for one or the other, that’s fine too! We just want to celebrate with you. Please RSVP so that we know how many to expect! All you need to bring is a good memory cause we are never going to forget this…

She nailed it. Well made cocktails, karaoke, and a hat tip to the many years I’ve put it rallying for my friends… [sniff]
