You ever paste something into photoshop that’s much bigger than your current canvas? It takes up all of your canvas but then you can’t see the edges to size it up right. Big time suck.
So, I recently got a bit tinkerish with my new Quicksilver update (it’s back!!) and ended up stubbing my toe. For some reason whenever I switched into an application, all of my other applications would automatically hide.

I’ve written previously about how I use markdown to blog. Markdown is a way to write text in a readable and then extendable way… check it out if you haven’t.
Well, I have a bit of a confession to make here: I don’t at all anymore and haven’t for a long time. I’ve actually been using Textile) all these years for all my writing. I just said I use markdown ‘cause all the cool kids use markdown and I’m easily susceptible to peer pressure.
I startup new WordPress sites all the time and it’s always a pain to build out some sample posts, put in images, add things like headings, lists, etc. to style. So I built a simple pre-populated database with a little help from WP Candy’s sample post collection.

It’s finally hit the boiling point… I’m so sick of Tweetdeck and the lame-a$$ adobe air suck-factor that I’ve got to find another twitter client for the mac. I’ve used Tweetie for the mac before, and I completely love it, but it doesn’t support lists.
Lists have become a linchpin in my twitter use. I have one list of all my close friends, another of important industry people, and several other lists that help me slice and dice and get the most value out of my time scanning tweets.
So, with that in mind, here are three twitter apps for Mac that I recently tried out.
